WM Henry Hiss of Marble Springs #439 receives Demolay International Award!!!

Photobucket

WM Brother Henry Hiss became a Demolay at the ripe old age of 14. After being encouraged by his father, who was a Mason, Henry himself served as a Demolay and couldn't wait to reach the minimum age to petition for the degrees of Masonry. That was over 50 years ago in Akron, OH. Now adays WM Hiss finds himself the second time as Master by serving Marble Springs #439. He is also Past Master of Montgomery #426.

The award presented to Brother Henry by DDGM Hyde acknowledges Henry's accomplishments as a Demolay in reaching the East. And to think!!!! Henry has been there twice!

When not presiding in the East, Henry can be found tinkering with his two antique Farm-all tractors or helping work on the new sanctuary his church is building. It seems that at the ripe young age of 75....Henry sees no need in slowing down. Jacques De Molay would be proud!
