Every spring Montgomery #426 has its annual Picnic/Open House. This year proved to be one of the most memorable in past times.
As in the last few years, entertainment was graciously provided by Bro Chip Siller and the Wayfaring Strangers. The bluegrass and gospel standards were enjoyed greatly by all present.
Friends, family, and Brothers dear all came from far and near to enjoy the hickory-smoked, pulled pork BBQ. Brothers Mike Hooper, Hugh K. Terrell, Dallas Davis, Gene Canter, and Paul ? were seen enjoying a few of the dishes!!!!
But, the main event was our annual presentation of awards. Twenty-five year pins were awarded to Brothers James and Lee Roy Hedrick. WM Brian Rau, and Cecil Allen PM#426 were there to assist with the pinnings.
It is so good when Brethern get to dwell together in unity. When you have as many Brothers present as was there saturday, all together with wives, children, and friends....it tends to be even more special.
